Made in the image of the Creator of the Universe, we are so thankful for the bounty of gifts and creative talents He has lovingly given each of us, and for the fellowship in which to share and grow
in our abilities.

We offer our best in all we do, because as we aim for EXCELLENCE, we are acquiring wisdom and becoming better stewards of the gifts that we've been given.  Because we are endeavoring to be our OUR BEST (not THE best), we are also growing in humility.

Welcome to our website.  Here you will get a glimpse of who we are and what we do.  We invite you to visit us at the studio.  We would love to meet you in person!

Today's Arts Education thought is:

EXPLORE, then FOCUS.
First, students explore.  Try dance, try music, try creative writing, try painting, try sewing, try woodwork, try sports.
While exploring various activities, we discover our personalities, our strengths, our weaknesses, our talents and our tastes.  Something is gained from each experience.  Something is learned, character is sculpted.
Then, we choose what we are most drawn to, and we FOCUS.  We study, we train, we continue to explore, but deeper, and with Purpose.
It is not so much the choice of activity that is important.  The act of FOCUSing, the commitment to a goal, and the willingness to work diligently towards that goal is what transforms us.

Our Introduction to Violin classes have been a big hit! In a small class setting, students are offered the opportunity to try out this beautiful and expressive instrument, learning correct technique, learning to read music and also learning the rudiments of improvisation.  With a rented violin, and without the expense and pressure of private lessons, this is definitely the way to "try out" the violin and see if it is the instrument for you!  Students who are interested, are then prepared to move on to the investment of private instruction.  And all students leave the class with a love for the instrument and the ability to have great fun playing beautiful music at home!
